We thoroughly enjoyed this place, everything was excellent. We asked for superior double room and it was compact. The breakfast was top, the check in was early. Its location just a walking distance from Foam Photography Museum was great and fab. Renowned restaurant provided homemade dishes.

The hotel has an excellent location, on the sidewalk in front of the hotel is the famous flower market. At the door of the hotel for the tram number 24, which passes through Dam Square (only two stops away) and reaches the Central Station. The family room was great: two big double beds for my children (7 and 8 years old) and my husband and me. The room was very very spacious. There is no fridge, but there is a Heineken beer dispenser.
shower screen was not well sealed, when we took a shower all the water came out, no matter how many towels you could lay on the floor it was no use. It's a shame to waste towels for mopping... Cleanliness is very scarce: when we went in, it was clean, rest of the days the cleaning was very superficial: no sweeping of the floor (less scrubbing), cushion had a big stain and even though you leave it the view, they didn't bother to change it...

The location and friendly helpfulness of the staff made the stay more than pleasant.
If the room was vacated after 13:00 it was not cleaned during the day.

The staff offered really good personalized recommendations for local dining and attractions.
The shower design caused significant water accumulation on the bathroom floor, leading to a slippery hazard.

The hotel is very well located, and quite near the most frequented hot spots. The staff was friendly and helpful. On the day of check out we could leave our luggage in the hotel until we left in the evening. The check in was possible at an earlier time than described in the rules.
unfortunately the room was not as clean as it should have been as it is a a four star hotel, for example the bath robe was totally dirty. Furthermore parts of the furniture were nagged and the windows did not completely isolated. When we were there, it was no big problem, because the weather was warm enough. But then, a working air condition would have been helpful. The most problematic thing was, that we needed to pay about 12 Euros city tax, allthough we thought, that it was included to the price that we paid by credit card. On the website of Booked.net another total price was shown, than on the bill at the hotel. I am still a little confused, whether we paid the city tax twice. Furthermore when we checked in, we needed to pay 100 Euros bail which is quite unusual. And when we checked out, we had no choice, whether we wanted to pay the city tax, because they discounted the city tax from the bail. We are still waiting for an information, whether we paid it twice or not. It was a bit annoying.

The hotel was centrally located within easy walking distance of all museums , restaurants, shopping and attractions. The rooms were spacious for a city centre hotel and very stylishly designed and attractive.
Due to its central location our room was very noisy on the Saturday night, the soundproofing could definitely be improved. However I understand there are other rooms to the back of the hotel which are quieter. My main complaint however was that the hotel charged the full price to my credit card ( not simply pre-authorised) on two separate occasions prior to our arrival, despite the terms of booking stating that we would not be charged until arrival. When I noticed this on my credit card statement and contacted Booked.net they did immediately act on my behalf and swiftly contacted the hotel for my refund, which I promptly recieved. However I would rather this had not happened and would probably not book this hotel again as a result.

We had an amazing family trip at this hotel! The location was perfect-close to Rembrandtplein and many attractions like museums and parks. Our kids had a blast biking through the city, and the nearby playground was a hit. The comfortable family suite was just what we needed!
In my wife's opinion, they should add a family play area.

The location was excellent and right in the city centre. You could walk to the main train station in 15 to 20 mins. Staff were very helpful and courteous and tried to help in every way they could.
There was only I lift in the hotel making movement difficult at peak periods. Also there was no cooling system installed in the rooms and it could get very hot at times. Also the hallways were not very clean but the rooms were kept spotlessly clean.

Location
Very small hotel. Would not recommend for long stay, only for 1-2 nights like weekend breaks. Double charged me for my stay - first 1 day before our check-in and second when check-in. No logical explanations I was not given.
